Dear all,

As per requests made on Friday:

1. I have found another room for the course. I hope you will like it better. It is classroom D105.

2. I have updated the introduction to the Moodle so that it includes the standard elements of the syllabus, including the requirements and assessment procedure.

3. The paper presentation can be done in team of maximum two. Remember to check the google spreadsheet.

Next session: we will continue discussing the paper Zero as a special price. And we will discuss Staw's paper on the escalation of commitment.

You will also find an exercise on the Moodle. Please try to solve it. It is a way to check for yourself that you have understood how people maximise expected utility, and risk attitudes. You will be expected to hand in this homework by next Tuesday but check it before Friday to let me know if you have questions. After the course, I will make myself available to explain the exercise in more details for those who feel it could help.
