Hello!

Next class will be onsite (Yay!) (well, hybrid for those who really cannot come).

I will start with talking about the method "revealing preferences". I will also say a few words on the method for documenting cognitive biases. The texts for the next two or three sessions are exactly doing that: using the experimental method to show that decision makers make choices that are systematically departing from what the model of the rational economic agent predict.

The texts for this Friday's session are Shampanier et al. 2007 and Tversky 1969. I think there are very nice example of the kind of work and studies that can be done on cognitive biases.

Please do read Shampanier et al.'s text, which we will discuss in class. Ohan will lead the discussion.

Tversky 1969 is a seminal text. Read it if you have the time. I will say a few words about it, but only if we have the time.
