The purpose of the course is to equip students with the necessary concepts and methods for analyzing discourses; to familiarize them with post-structuralist and post-Marxist theories of discourse; and, finally, to enable them to differentiate this method of discourse analysis from other schools of discourse analysis, such as, for example, critical discourse analysis.
