1) For Marr’s 3 levels can we say that the first level is the most important one, and the other 2 levels depend on having a good first level?

2) In the paper, they say that the visual systems of different animals must differ significantly from one another (and use representations that are nicely tailored to the owner’s purposes). Also both in the paper and in the videos it is talked about that we do not perceive the world as it is. But also we have an irresistible trust in our perception in our everyday life. Some evolutionary accounts explain it as otherwise, life would be so hard. Other than efficiency, is there any other reason that our perception is not an objective representation of the real world? How can we explain the subjectivity of perception and our trust in our perception together? In other words, why we do not see the world as it is but we feel that we see the world as it is?
