This course introduces students to the logic and instruments of empirical social science research, helps them acquire essential practical research skills and finding the appropriate methods for their researches. This course precedes and complements other specific methods courses offered by the Department that trains them to apply specific research techniques (various quantitative and qualitative methods, case study research, text analysis, etc)
